Description
The 48V starter-generator used in Audi vehicles is widely applied across many models. However, in some vehicles, failure of the 48V starter-generator can lead to a malfunction of the entire 48V system. This may result in battery discharge and a loss of power.
There are two main repair options: replacing either the IGBT control board or the IGBT component itself. However, replacing only the IGBT involves complex procedures and still carries a high risk of future failure.
As a result, the most effective and reliable solution is to replace the entire IGBT control board.
